Suwaporn Worrasit (สุวพร วรสิทธิ์)
Suwaporn (b.1987) is a filmmaker and cinematographer based in Bangkok, Thailand. His work is often told through the eyes of an observer who immerses himself and connects with people, spaces, or moments to explore feelings and what is happening in front of him. He lets his own awareness and presence blend naturally with his surroundings, capturing what happens before the lens in a straightforward way.
His films usually deal with social, political, and cultural issues with a simple approach. Although he brings an artistic eye to composing his visuals, his main interest is using "images" to record what is right in front of him—both what can be seen and the intangible feelings of a moment, the unspoken language, and the natural flow of events, without needing underlined conclusions or definitive answers.
Suwaporn past short film, "Ratchadamnoen Route View 2482+", won the Pirab-Khao Award at the 25th Thai Short Film and Video Festival and was selected for the Video Library Programme at the Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin in France.
Currently, he is the co-founder of Radap-Saita Studio, a media production company in Thailand, working independently with producers and creators as a director, cinematographer, and editor, while developing his first feature-length documentary.
